Social Impact

Fair business is key to creating positive social impact, both within our organization and among our stakeholders. Not everyone has equal access to the labor market, and some groups are left behind, including people with lower education levels, different ethnic backgrounds, disabilities, or long-term unemployment.
Our ambition
Eurofiber is committed to creating and maintaining an inspiring workplace. This means fostering an inclusive, energetic environment where everyone feels encouraged to learn and grow. We want every individual to feel valued for their uniqueness, regardless of gender, cultural background, or sexual identity - and to have the freedom to be themselves within Eurofiber.

Diversity and Inclusion
Eurofiber is working towards 40% female representation in management by 2028. But diversity is more than gender balance. That’s why we have an active Diversity & Inclusion Board and take practical steps to embed inclusion across our organization.
Some of our key initiatives:
- Flexible holidays:
Employees can exchange Christian holidays for other religious celebrations or days that better fit their personal needs. - Employee networks and communities:
We support spaces where colleagues can connect, share knowledge, and learn from each other through funded Employee Resource Groups. - D&I in learning and development:
Diversity, equity, and inclusion are built into our training programs to create awareness and inclusive practices. - Partnerships for inclusion:
We work with organizations that promote gender equality and inclusive workplaces.

Career Development
As an employer, Eurofiber invests in developing the knowledge, skills, and competencies of our people. We want to attract and retain the best talent, so we actively encourage growth and development. Opportunities include:
- Eurofiber Learning Hub:
Access to a wide range of online courses, from GoodHabitz to tailored programs - Coaching and mentoring:

Community Engagement
Every year, we offer employees 16 hours of volunteer work to support initiatives that make a difference in society. This is not only an opportunity to give back but also to work together as a team toward social goals. From organizing the annual Connect Run for charities like Stichting Opkikker, Alzheimer Nederland, ALS, and Ronald McDonald Kinderfonds, to helping refugees, cooking for the homeless, and providing day activities for elderly people with dementia. We also support organizations like VHTO, which inspires girls to pursue careers in technology.
