Location and layout
The data center is strategically located in the Rotterdam region, with excellent accessibility via the A15 and A16 motorways. The location is ideal for organizations operating near the port of Rotterdam and the economic heart of the Netherlands. The complex has a spacious loading bay for equipment transport and its own parking spaces. The facility is barrier-free and equipped with modern amenities, including work and meeting rooms that can be easily reserved online.

Security
Safety is paramount at Eurofiber Datacenter Rotterdam. The site is enclosed by secure fencing and access gates that can only be opened with personal access passes and/or codes. The data center is continuously monitored by camera systems and has multiple layers of security, including a security gate between the reception area and the data floors. Access to the data floors requires double verification with both an access pass and a fingerprint scan. These extensive security measures ensure optimal protection for your equipment and data.
Fire prevention
The data center is equipped with advanced fire prevention and extinguishing systems. A gas extinguishing system is used with a special gas mixture that can quickly fight fires without causing damage to servers and IT equipment. This system effectively extinguishes fires without residual damage, ensuring the continuity of your systems and minimizing downtime.
Sustainability
Sustainability is a core value for the data center. Energy consumption is kept to a minimum through the use of energy-efficient cooling techniques such as dry cooling and chillers with free cooling. The design with cold corridors ensures efficient cooling and a smaller ecological footprint.
