Location and layout

The data center is located in the Arnhem region and is easily accessible via the A12 and A50 highways, making it ideal for companies both in the immediate vicinity and beyond. You can use the free parking spaces and the spacious loading bay for delivering and removing your equipment. Our in-house elevator allows you to move your equipment effortlessly to the first floor. The building is completely barrier-free, and trolleys are available to help you transport your equipment and tools with ease. You can also make use of a specially designed customer area where you can work in peace, and there is a meeting room available that you can easily reserve online.

Security

The site is fully fenced and secured with access gates that can only be opened with a personal access pass or code. The data center is under constant surveillance thanks to 24/7 camera monitoring. A security gate has been installed between the reception area and the data floors to ensure that only one person at a time can access the data floors. Access requires double verification, whereby you must use your personal access pass and undergo a fingerprint scan. This combination of security measures offers the highest possible protection for your valuable IT systems.

 

Fire prevention

Both data floors are equipped with a fire alarm system in combination with Very Early Smoke Detection Alarms (VESDA) systems that detect dust and soot particles. The data center uses a gas extinguishing system with a special gas mixture that can extinguish fires quickly and effectively without damaging IT equipment. This ensures that fires are quickly stopped without causing residual damage, so your systems remain operational and downtime is kept to a minimum.

 

Sustainability

The data center has been designed with sustainability in mind and strives for maximum energy efficiency. Energy consumption is minimized through the use of energy-efficient cooling techniques, such as dry cooling and chillers with free cooling. Cold corridors contribute to more efficient cooling and reduce the data center's ecological footprint. Datacenter Arnhem runs entirely on green electricity, contributing to a sustainable future.
