Our Amsterdam facility, opened in 2020 and located in Hoofddorp, is a Tier 3 designed data center that serves both national and international organizations. It offers a fully 2N-implemented infrastructure, which stands for complete redundancy in power and cooling facilities, and guarantees maximum reliability and uptime. In addition, the data center is completely sovereign, ensuring you have full control over your data within Dutch and European regulations.

Location and layout
The data center is located near the A4 motorway and close to Schiphol Airport, making it easily accessible. The site has parking spaces, a loading bay for loading and unloading equipment, and trolleys for easy transport of equipment and tools. In addition, there are facilities such as a customer room, a staging room, and a meeting room that can be reserved online, which facilitates the maintenance and management of your IT infrastructure.

Security
The Amsterdam data center is strictly secured and complies with the highest security certifications. The site is fenced with an electric fence and multiple access gates that can be opened with an access pass or code. There is 24/7 camera surveillance. Between the reception area and the data floors, there is a circle lock that controls the number of people and the presence of goods, allowing only one person at a time to access the secure area of the data center. Access to the data floors is only granted via double verification with both a personal access pass and a fingerprint scan, adding an extra layer of security.
Fire prevention
All data floors and technical rooms are equipped with a redundant Very Early Smoke Detection Alarms (VESDA) system. These systems are designed to detect fires early and combat them effectively, minimizing risks. A gas extinguishing system is used with a special gas mixture, Argonite, which effectively combats fire without damaging servers and IT equipment.
Sustainability
Energy consumption is minimized with cooling techniques such as dry cooling and chillers with free cooling. In addition, the data center has cold corridors, which contribute to more efficient cooling and a lower ecological footprint.
