NGN Fiber Network GmbH & Co. KG acquires dark fiber provider netcon AG
NGN strengthens its position in the German fiber market with this acquisition, supporting its long-term growth objectives for open access digital infrastructure.
With this acquisition, we reaffirm our ambition to become one of Germany’s leading providers, not only through our own strategic network expansion, but also through targeted acquisitions. The takeover of netcon AG is the ideal complement to our existing network and creates valuable synergies. At the same time, it enables the continued expansion of our already 21,000-kilometer dark fiber network.
Existing netcon customers will benefit from NGN’s reliable fiber solutions as well as inhouse build-out and maintenance competencies.
