Eurofiber launches data center connectivity services in Germany
New WDM services connect data centers in six major German markets, supporting the distribution of cloud, AI and other data-intensive applications across multiple locations
Today at CapacityEurope2026, Eurofiber is launching optical fiber connectivity services between data centers in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich and Stuttgart.
To deliver these services, Eurofiber will primarily leverage the infrastructure of NGN Fiber Network, in which it is a shareholder. Through this network, Eurofiber will provide WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) connectivity within and between the six cities.
The direct, high-capacity connections give customers fast and reliable access to data centers, with low latency and high bandwidth that can scale as their needs grow. This supports data-intensive applications such as cloud services and AI, as well as data replication, back-up and business continuity across multiple locations.

According to Arian de Korte, International Program Director at Eurofiber, demand for connectivity between data centers is growing: “In Germany, enterprises, cloud service providers and international network providers are increasingly using regional data centers to bring data and applications closer to their operations and users, maintain greater control over their data and strengthen their digital resilience. This supports their digital sovereignty and increases the need for reliable interconnection between these facilities.”
Eurofiber operates in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany and Luxembourg and manages an extensive open-access fiber network. The WDM connectivity services in Germany will be offered under the Eurofiber brand.
Andrea Kraus, CCO of the Eurofiber Group, said: “For customers, the value of regional data centers depends increasingly on how well those locations are connected. They need the flexibility to scale capacity, move data quickly and build resilience across their digital infrastructure. By expanding our data center connectivity services in Germany, we give organizations a stronger foundation for cloud, AI and other data-intensive applications.”
