Eurofiber appoints Saskia Nijs as Chief Information Officer

Maarssen, the Netherlands, September 24, 2026 - Eurofiber has appointed Saskia Nijs as Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective October 1. Having served as interim CIO since March, she will now assume the role on a permanent basis.

As CIO, Nijs will be responsible for further strengthening Eurofiber's IT organization and leading the company's digital transformation agenda. She will focus on aligning technology, processes and innovation with Eurofiber's growth ambitions and the evolving needs of customers across its markets.

Since joining Eurofiber earlier this year, Nijs has played an important role in enhancing business support capabilities, accelerating improvement initiatives and driving the further development of the IT organization.

Nijs brings more than two decades of experience in technology, digital transformation and leadership. During her career she has held senior leadership roles at organizations including KPNQwest, Microsoft and Philips. She is also widely recognized in the Netherlands for her expertise in artificial intelligence and the future of work, combining executive experience with research, teaching and supervisory board positions.
