MatrixMind first in Western Europe with Microsoft Advanced Specialization for Azure Cloud and Azure Networking Services

Utrecht, The Netherlands, 27 January 2022 - Cloud service provider MatrixMind, part of the Eurofiber Group, has become the first organization in Western Europe to receive the advanced networking services specialization for Microsoft Azure. It is only the eleventh organization worldwide to have been awarded this specialization by Microsoft.

MatrixMind is a Dutch company specialized in hybrid and multi-cloud solutions. Back in 2015, it achieved Azure Gold status, making it an early adopter of Azure specialization. In December 2021 MatrixMind obtained the exceptional recognition of Advanced Specialist in Azure Networking Services. Only Gold partners with in-depth knowledge of networking and who meet a large number of strict requirements for setting up an Azure Cloud environment are eligible for this recognition.

Fully implementing a cloud environment
“We are very proud of this specialization”, says Almir Iriskic, founder and CTO of MatrixMind. "It shows that Azure holds no secrets for us and that we have a well thought out strategy to fully implement Azure Cloud. Advanced networking knowledge is one of the key success factors of cloud adoption. The test by means of an audit was particularly robust. It did not only include networking as a specialization, but also the well thought-out design of Azure Cloud. We passed it with flying colors. With this, we have proven that we have a well-considered approach to create a good and secure link between the customer's IT environments and Azure Cloud."

Partly thanks to this specialization, customers can count on MatrixMind to have sufficient knowledge and experience in designing and setting up Azure landing zones. "Landing zones are crucial to have things like connectivity, identity, security, governance and management in order and to continuously optimize the environment further", says Almir Iriskic.

Keep on innovating
MatrixMind has been part of the Eurofiber Group since 2020. Eurofiber COO Eric Kuisch: “With MatrixMind we offer clients so-called hybrid cloud solutions, in which they themselves can determine whether and at what pace they want to move to the private or public cloud, for example, and also have the option of going back part way or switching providers if necessary. This recognition from Microsoft shows that we are at the top of the market. Meanwhile, we continue to innovate in order to deliver even more added value to our customers”.
