Eurofiber selects Quantum Bridge to secure its networks against quantum cyber attacks
Eurofiber announces a new strategic partnership with Quantum Bridge, a pioneer in distributed symmetric key establishment (DSKE) technology, and Juniper Networks. This collaboration makes quantum-safe communication solutions and expanded secure data transfer capabilities available for organizations across Eurofiber's network.
A steady increase in cyber threats and evolving global regulatory requirements are driving a spike in demand for quantum-safe encryption. Eurofiber is therefore partnering with Juniper Networks and Quantum Bridge to integrate advanced post-quantum cryptography into its extensive network infrastructure. This partnership positions the companies at the forefront of the emerging quantum technology market, securing these networks from cyberattacks using a quantum computer by combining Juniper Networks’ SRX firewalls with Quantum Bridge’s DSKE technology.
Quantum Bridge's patented DSKE technology does not rely on traditional asymmetric cryptography, a part of today’s encryption which is both widely used and vulnerable to quantum cyberattacks. DSKE technology
Distributed symmetric key establishment (DSKE) is an advanced and highly scalable key distribution technology trusted by large financial institutions, enterprise clients, and service providers that require a multi-layer, defense-in-depth security strategy. It fully automates the creation and distribution of symmetric keys, without relying on computational complexity or asymmetric encryption. Quantum-safe financial systems
Recently, Eurofiber successfully showcased the DSKE technology in a high-security environment.
At a recent meeting of central banks in Rome, representatives from G7 countries discussed the cryptographic risks associated with the advancement of quantum computing. On that occasion, Eurofiber demonstrated how the Quantum Bridge DSKE technology combined with Juniper Networks SRX firewalls can play a leading role in securing the financial system from attacks by malicious actors using quantum computers. The demonstration was attended by global leaders in central banking and commercial banking who agreed that now is the time to plan an orderly migration of the financial system towards quantum-safe encryption.
