Eurofiber ESG report 2023

Eurofiber presents its ESG report 2023. In addition to the ESG policy, it also records the successes achieved in sustainability activities. The report reflects Eurofiber's commitment and efforts of sustainability and corporate social responsibility, a joint effort of the organization together with its stakeholders. The report has been verified by an external auditor: FIRA Sustainability and covers the ESG activities of Eurofiber Netherlands, Eurofiber Cloud Infra and Eurofiber Belgium.

In 2023 we have again made a significant contribution to creating positive impact in terms of ESG, both within Eurofiber and beyond for the industry. We continued to reduce our organization's CO2 emissions, launched a successful D&I campaign and training, and continue to work with our suppliers to become more sustainable. The activities in collaboration with NLconnect, FTTH Council Europe and the Green Digital Action at COP28, also contribute to achieving our ESG ambitions.

Key ESG results achieved by Eurofiber in 2023:

- Eurofiber’s CO2 reduction targets have been approved by the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi) and the CO2 reductions we have achieved in 2023 are ahead of schedule for these targets.

- Progress has been made in the area of circularity; after use, 70% of CPEs returned by customers have been refurbished for reuse in our network.

- In the pillar Social, Diversity & Inclusiveness, an internal training course was developed: Unconscious Bias.
