Eurofiber appoints Christoph Klein as Managing Director Germany

Mr Klein will lead Eurofiber’s expansion in Germany

Eurofiber Group has appointed Christoph Klein as Managing Director Eurofiber Germany effective April 1. In this newly established role, Mr Klein will lead Eurofiber’s expansion in Germany as part of its European growth strategy.

Christoph Klein is an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in managing consulting and C-level management in telecoms and ICT. Most recently, he was Group CEO of BTV Multimedia Group, a leading provider for hardware and services in the broadband industry. Earlier, Klein held senior management and executive positions at Deutsche Telekabel Group, Kabel Deutschland, AT Kearney and others.
 

Growth strategy
In the newly established role of MD Eurofiber Germany, Christoph Klein will be a key member of the executive committee of the Eurofiber Group and will be responsible for developing and executing the Group’s expansion in Germany. Recently, Eurofiber entered the German market with a joint venture with Vattenfall, which is established to connect more than 500,000 households and businesses in Berlin. Eurofiber also owns and manages fiber optic cables between the Netherlands and Hamburg and recently announced it will open a point of presence in Frankfurt. Christoph Klein: ‘Eurofiber has an incredible track-record in providing digital infrastructure of more than 20 years. Bringing Eurofiber´s undisputed competences and capabilities to the highly dynamic market in Germany as part of such a great team is one of the most exciting roles I currently can think of.
